Buford Back Doctor

Your spine serves as the body’s primary support structure, and it connects and supports various sections of the musculoskeletal system. The backbone helps us to perform ordinary functions such as sitting, standing, stretching, and walking.

Back injuries, age-related wear and tear, spinal conditions, and other issues can alter your backbone’s integrity leading to back pain. Back pain can manifest in two primary forms; acute spine pain and chronic spine pain.

Acute spinal pain typically occurs after a traumatic fall or strenuous lifting and can affect an individual for up to 6 weeks. Although a chiropractor can help alleviate acute spine pain, it is always best to visit a spine doctor because they can identify the root cause and treat the pain more effectively.

Chronic spine pain refers to back pain that lasts for three or more months. This type of spinal condition often has other symptoms, including bowel function issues, fever, chills, insomnia, and numbness in the arms or legs. Prolonged back issues requires a qualified spine specialist to treat.

HOW BUFORD BACK PAIN DOCTORS DIAGNOSE BACK PAIN

Buford orthopedists use various diagnostic tests to identify the cause and nature of the back pain condition or injury. Back pain diagnosis could involve one or more of the following tests:

1. Physical examination involving a back specialist who analyzes physical aspects such as the ability to stand, reflexes, and sensitivity of the legs’ nerves.

2. Blood and urine assays to identify underlying conditions.

3. Spinal X-rays to check the alignment of bones and also identify breaks.

4. CT and MRI scans to analyze spinal disks, ligaments, nerves, and muscles.

5. Electromyography tests to identify nerve conduction issues.

HOW YOU CAN PREVENT BACK PAIN

Preventing spine ailments and injuries can help you avoid back and neck pain. Here are health tips that help you avoid back pain.

1. Avoid carrying heavy baggage or items like purses, briefcases and backpacks as they only add stress to your spine.

2. Consider doing exercises that strengthen your abdominal and back muscles.

3. Make regular stretching and good posture part of your lifestyle as they help to reduce back and spinal strain.

Spinal pain can seriously affect your quality of life. However, you can remedy this condition by seeking prompt treatment from a qualified spine doctor. Carolyn’s Testimonial

My name is Carolyn and I want to tell you my story about Laser. Several years ago, as I was getting out of a truck, my feet slipped and I landed on the pavement jerking my back in a way that I never knew existed thus causing extreme back pain.

I went to my primary care doctor due to the pain I was in. I could not put my foot on the floor. The primary care doctor sent me for x-rays. The results of the x-ray showed a nerve pressing on a disk.

My primary care doctor sent me to Shahram Rezaiamiri, a Board Certified Neurosurgeon who is located in Stockbridge, GA. Dr. Rezaiamiri talked to me about Laser being less invasive and how this may be a better plan of action for me. I have to admit I was reluctant at first but now after living with the result I’m thankful I chose Laser.

If anyone is having back pain, Laser is the only way to go and if I had to make the choice again, this is what I would choose. The recovery was 6 to 8 weeks, and I have not had back pain since my surgery.

I would not trust anyone else to surgery on my back, Dr. Rezaiamiri, knows what he is doing and is a fantastic doctor, the results I’m living with are a testimony to his great work.

If you are having back pain so severe and can no longer stand it and are not certain what you should do, Laser is the way to go. It certainly worked for me. I pray if you choose the route, that you will be pleased with the results. I know and realize that not everyone will have the same results due to the type of injury they may have, however I can honestly say I highly recommend Dr. Rezaiamiri to anyone who is in need of Laser surgery.

Thank you to Dr. Rezaiamiri for all you did to help me.

Sincerely,
Carolyn
