Spine and neck pain are prevalent conditions that cause many people to miss work and seek medical assistance from spine doctors. Back pain can be debilitating and may require back surgery. This condition can be the result of strenuous activities, injury, and medical ailments.
The backbone system helps you stand upright and move body parts such as the torso. Your back comprises numerous ligaments, tendons, bones, discs, and muscles that work together as one support unit. If one or more of these back structures develop problems, you will experience mild or severe spinal pain.
Some of the leading causes of spinal pain include:
It is always best to see an orthopedist and undergo physical and laboratory examinations to determine the particular ailment causing the pain.
Lower back pain is also more prevalent among women than men, and back specialists believe it’s due to hormonal factors. When you visit a Covington back pain doctor, they will advise you on various risk factors that may cause or aggravate back pain.
Such risk factors include pregnancy, older age, obesity, strenuous activities, and smoking. Other back pain risk factors include anxiety, mood disorders, and stress.
A spine doctor can only diagnose and remedy back pain through examination and testing. Many people delay visiting an orthopedist because they fear undergoing back surgery. However, not all back pain issues require surgery. Covington back pain doctors offer minimally-intrusive procedures and outpatient back treatments such as back pain injections. Therefore, you should visit a back pain practitioner when you experience any of the following symptoms.
Quicker back pain diagnosis and treatment will ensure you get faster relief, so consider visiting a Covington back specialist to resolve your symptoms today.

I went to my primary care doctor due to the pain I was in. I could not put my foot on the floor. The primary care doctor sent me for x-rays. The results of the x-ray showed a nerve pressing on a disk.
My primary care doctor sent me to Shahram Rezaiamiri, a Board Certified Neurosurgeon who is located in Stockbridge, GA. Dr. Rezaiamiri talked to me about Laser being less invasive and how this may be a better plan of action for me. I have to admit I was reluctant at first but now after living with the result I’m thankful I chose Laser.
If anyone is having back pain, Laser is the only way to go and if I had to make the choice again, this is what I would choose. The recovery was 6 to 8 weeks, and I have not had back pain since my surgery.
I would not trust anyone else to surgery on my back, Dr. Rezaiamiri, knows what he is doing and is a fantastic doctor, the results I’m living with are a testimony to his great work.
If you are having back pain so severe and can no longer stand it and are not certain what you should do, Laser is the way to go. It certainly worked for me. I pray if you choose the route, that you will be pleased with the results. I know and realize that not everyone will have the same results due to the type of injury they may have, however I can honestly say I highly recommend Dr. Rezaiamiri to anyone who is in need of Laser surgery.
Thank you to Dr. Rezaiamiri for all you did to help me.
Sincerely,
Carolyn
